Lots of fun, unusual rhymes like inky and stinky!
Our new favorite opposite book. Love that this book uses some lesser known opposites – exposing Little N to words like opaque and transparent.
Simple vocabulary builder – one picture with one word – all about the farm. Nice, vivid illustrations
This was too fun! Each page asks a question, and then there is a cut out circle that shows different objects when the wheel is turned. Great for vocabulary and interaction.
Little N may be too young for this. Lots to seek and find – lots to talk about – great vocabulary builder.
A great book to discuss emotions of happy and sad. Silly pictures made little N laugh
Little N’s dad really likes reading this one to him. Just simple pictures – one animal per page with its name.
Each page describes the weather and gives four choices and asks what article of clothing or accessory bear will choose. Great for vocabulary!
Very cool book – 101 trains – each one with a flap to open and see what the car is carrying. Definitely too much for Little N at this stage, but I will be checking this out again when he is a bit older. There are some rhymes throughout the story, but the whole thing is not in rhyme. Lots of fodder for vocabulary practice!
This is a celebration of a child’s uniqueness. Fun to name all the animals and then say – no (so fun to say no over and over for those little ones).
